St. Johnsbury Road Update August 8, 2024 at 10:30 am:
• Concord Ave.– closed between Almshouse & Gilman
• Farmer Drive - closed between Morgan Circle and Coolidge Circle
• Severance Hill Road- closed at Red Village Road
• Route 5 – open for one lane of traffic at Vermont State Police barracks
We ask that you limit travel to all of the previously damaged areas to reduce further damage and maintain the road for residents and emergency vehicles. St. Johnsbury's Department of Public Works continues to work to repair roads. Many roads allow only one traffic lane to service traffic in both directions.
