Town of St. Johnsbury to Host Public Safety Community Meeting on October 21st
October 21st at 6 pm
The Town of ST. Johnsbury invites community members to attend a Public Safety Community Meeting on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026, at 6 pm in the St. Johnsbury School Auditorium.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for town officials, public safety personnel, community partners, and residents to come together to discuss public safety concerns, review progress to date, and identify remaining challenges.
Presenters include Chief Reed, Interim Chief Wilson, Town Manager, Chad Whitehead, David Roth, Sharon Howell, Jack Thomas, a representative from Kingdom Recovery Center, and a representative from Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS).
During the meeting, presenters will share updates on the work and progress made to address community public safety concerns, discuss ongoing challenges, and provide an opportunity for residents to offer feedback, ask questions, and share their perspectives.
Community participation is an important part of this process. Feedback gathered during the October 21st meeting will help inform and shape the second community forum planned for November 2026. The goal is to continue an open dialogue, strengthen collaboration among community partners, and ensure that residents have an opportunity to help shape future discussions and priorities related to public safety in St. Johnsbury.
All community members are encouraged to attend and participate in this important conversation.
