Emergency Water Main Repairs

Public Works is currently working on an emergency water main repair on Bay Street.
As a result, water will be shut off to properties from the Wastewater Treatment Facility to Myers Waste & Recycle until further notice.
Crews are working to complete the repair and restore water as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this emergency work is being completed.
The Town of St. Johnsbury Recreation Department has received a Technical Assistance Support Grant from Local Motion and is seeking your feedback. Survey responses will be reviewed by Local Motion staff and used to create conceptual designs that include strategies to improve the connection between the Bay St. corridor/Three Rivers Trailhead Pavilion and the downtown business sector of St. Johnsbury. Local Motion will share preliminary conceptual designs with the community on Sunday, October 11th from 9am-3pm during the Fall for St. Johnsbury festival on Depot Square. Visit the booth to engage with conceptual designs, participate in mini walking and biking audits through the "honking tunnel" connection, and share your feedback. Pedestrians and bikers welcome! (NOTE: Ticket to Ride will offer a bike valet service to safely park your bicycle after your audit so you can explore and enjoy the rest of the festival!) Following the audits, Local Motion will work over the winter to finalize conceptual designs based on survey and audit results. A full "pop-up" demonstration will be planned for the connection area in Spring/Summer 2027.
