Due to low water pressure encountered during emergency repairs there is a possibility that your drinking water may have become contaminated. The St. Johnsbury Water System is issuing a PRECAUTIONARY Boil Water Notice for users at the following address on Farmer Drive (163 to 439), all users on Shetland Cir., all users on Coolidge Cir. and all users on Morgan Cir. Effective immediately and until further notice.

Calling all input! If you weren't able to make it out for the Public Safety Community Meeting on Wednesday (or if you have more to share), here's how to get involved. Scan the QR code or visit tinyurl.com/safestj to fill out the Public Safety Community Meeting Input Form. Use the form to ask questions, express ideas, share constructive feedback, and RSVP for the Public Safety Roundtables Community Meeting on November 18th. Your input directly shapes the data and roundtable themes for this meeting! Attend the meeting on November 18 th at 6pm at the Morse Center for the Arts (St. Johnsbury Academy campus). The meeting will include a brief overview of the data, plus plenty of time to participate in themed community roundtable discussions that will shape the future of public safety work and volunteerism in St. Johnsbury.
Please be advised that the Select Board meeting originally scheduled for Monday has been moved to Tuesday, October 13, 2026 due to the holiday. The meeting will take place at the regularly scheduled time (6pm) and location (Welcome Center 51 Depot Square).
The Town of St. Johnsbury Recreation Department has received a Technical Assistance Support Grant from Local Motion and is seeking your feedback. Survey responses will be reviewed by Local Motion staff and used to create conceptual designs that include strategies to improve the connection between the Bay St. corridor/Three Rivers Trailhead Pavilion and the downtown business sector of St. Johnsbury. Local Motion will share preliminary conceptual designs with the community on Sunday, October 11th from 9am-3pm during the Fall for St. Johnsbury festival on Depot Square. Visit the booth to engage with conceptual designs, participate in mini walking and biking audits through the "honking tunnel" connection, and share your feedback. Pedestrians and bikers welcome! (NOTE: Ticket to Ride will offer a bike valet service to safely park your bicycle after your audit so you can explore and enjoy the rest of the festival!) Following the audits, Local Motion will work over the winter to finalize conceptual designs based on survey and audit results. A full "pop-up" demonstration will be planned for the connection area in Spring/Summer 2027.
