February 16, 2026

Bay Street Water Main Break Repaired

DPW crews completed the repair on Bay Street at approximately 6:00am this morning and are working with the Chief Water Operator to fill water storage tanks and restore service through out the system. There will be a Precautionary Boil Water Order in effect until further notice.

Due to low water pressure encountered during emergency repairs there is a possibility that your drinking water may have become contaminated. The St. Johnsbury Water System is issuing a PRECAUTIONARY Boil Water Notice for all water system users effective immediately and until further notice.
