Wilfrid Bourgeois
This report is dedicated to the memory of Wilfrid Bourgeois. Wil was a member of the St. Johnsbury Police Department from 1969 to 1991 (interrupted in 1977) and was employed as a Sergeant at the time of his death in 1991.
In addition to his other public and private contribution to the community and his fellowmen, Wil's work on the D.A.R.E. program marked him for respect and admiration not only for the children whose guidance he was undertaking, but also for parents, educators and the general public.
Wil truely exemplified the "faithful public servant" concept in its purest and comprehensive form and name.
Wil will be long remembered and missed by all.
